Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a facility expenditure by a method wherein an opening/ closing door is made of a sheet of plate acting in an upper stage conveyor passage and a lower stage conveyor passage, the door is lowered correspondingly when the upper stage conveyor passage is opened and in turn lifted up correspondingly when the lower stage conveyor passage is opened.
SOLUTION: Upper and lower two-stage conveyor rollers 21, 22 are arranged within a heat treatment furnace 11. An upper stage conveyor passage 31 for use in transporting item to be treated into the furnace is formed above the upper stage conveyor roller 21. A lower stage conveyor passage 32 for use in transporting the item to be treated into the furnace is formed above the lower-stage conveyor roller 22 below the upper stage conveyor roller 21. Then, there is provided an opening/closing door 43 of a sheet of plate acting for the upper stage conveyor passage 31 and the lower stage conveyor passage 32. When the upper stage conveyor passage 31 is opened, the opening/closing door 43 is lowered correspondingly and in turn when the lower stage conveyor passage 32 is opened, the opening/closing door 43 is lifted up correspondingly. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to reduce an expenditure of facility and a frequency of occurrence of trouble.
