Abstract:
To provide a door latch device which improves the quality of a vehicle and imparts to the vehicle an identity different from other vehicles, not by reducing sound pressure but by improving generated sound quality.
According to the structure of the door latch device, a fork 14 is provided with an inflection point 24 on which a striker 12 abuts when the door latch device shifts from an open mode to a half-latched mode, and the deflection point 24 is formed such that the striker 12 deeply abuts on or engages with the same.
