This door lock device has a rotatable latch and the detent lever 4 stored in a cover 8. The latch engages with and disengages from a striker in response to the rotational movement. The detent lever 4 engages with and disengages from the latch in response to the rotational movement, and is energized in the direction for engaging with the latch by a detent lever energizing spring 19, and is brought into pressure contact with the cover 8.
