PURPOSE: To release a door lock with bare hand by forming a storage device using a rotary plate that displays a rotational position or a display plate such as a liquid crystal or the like based on electrical energy or combination patterns by two switches.

CONSTITUTION: In a lock releasing device using a display that helps see a rotational position such as a photograph, a picture, a symbol or the like pasted to a display plate 8, in place of the display plate 8, a switchboard divided into a plurality of sections is provided in a body case 16. A screen is moved by applying electrical energy obtained from a ratchet wheel 1 to a display such as a fluorescent display tube or a liquid crystal or the like pasted to a windowpane, and a door lock can be released by operating the door handle. By making one of a plurality of patterns made by combinations of two switches and the neutral point correspond to a pattern of a storage device and the recited position of a door handle lever operation, the door lock may be released.
