PURPOSE: To obtain a door lock of thin type and surely perform the detecting operation of a switching mechanism further increase the effects of waterproof and dustproof, by arranging a door close detecting mechanism in a door lock mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: In a main body 9 a latch 10 meshed with a striker (not shown in the drawing) and a pawl 11 meshed with the latch 10 are pivotally mounted rotatably to respective shafts 12, 13, simultaneously an actuator 18 of a push-botton switch 17 is engaged to a cam face 19 of the latch 10, and a protrusive part 20 is provided in a position almost symmetrical to a groove 10a in the latch 10 at an end part of the cam face 19. In this way, a door lock mechanism of thin type can be obtained simultaneously a door-close signal is generated when the actuator 18 is pressed and engaged to the protrusive part 20 of the latch 10 while a door-open signal is generated when the actuator is loosely contacted to the protrusive part 20 to surely perform the detecting operation of open-close for a door.
