Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light weight door lock capable of being manufactured at a low cost and being reasonably and easily assembled, and capable of being forcibly unlocked by retreating a latch bolt with a simple operation even when the door lock gets troubled due to wear or malfunction of an internal component.SOLUTION: A door lock 3 includes: a latch bolt 8 which is stored within a door 1 so as to move forward/backward; a first lever cam 6 which is rotatable synchronously with a lever handle; and an interlock lever 10 which is disposed so as to engage with the first lever cam 6 and the latch bolt 8 at both ends thereof. A second lever cam 7 having a protruding engagement cam 45 is rotatably provided to a pivot shaft of the first lever cam 6. A breakable lock pin 38 and one end of an interlock link 9 are disposed in a reverse rotation area of the engagement cam 45 so as to get engaged with each other when the engagement cam 45 is rotated reversibly, and the other end of the interlock link 9 is arranged so as to get engaged with the latch bolt 8. When the engagement cam 45 is rotated reversely, the engagement cam 45 gets engaged with the one end of the interlock link 9 to retreat the latch bolt 8 to thereby unlock the door lock.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
