Title:
DOOR LOCK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3671161
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock capable of preventing imprisioning, in a door having a structure in which a member interlocking with the handle of the door cannot be directly engaged with a latch body.
SOLUTION: The door has the structure in which the latch body 39 is interlocked to a cam body 34 through a connecting mechanism such as a yoke 38 or the like, and the connecting mechanism converts the cam movement of the cam body 39 to the amplifying movement of the latch body 39. In a position where a lock body 43 moves in the anti-gravity direction according to the clockwise rotation (Fig. A) or counterclockwise rotation (Fig. B) of a lock cam 42 interlocked with a thumb-turn to rotate the lock can 42 substantially at 90°, a laver handle is not rotated against the rotation operation by the cylinder 34d of the cam body 34 contacting on the protruding part 43b21 of the lock body 43. Further, even if an external force is applied to recess the latch body 39 to a case body 30, the latch body 39 remains protruded from the case body 30 without being recessed into the case body 30 because its terminal leg part 39b2 is allowed to abut on the left side wall 34c1 of the lock body 43.
