Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce shock noise brought on closing a door, by providing a buffer member and a detection member of a clearance.
SOLUTION: A buffer plate 8 is fitted to a part of a latch bolt 5. Further, a detection member 10 of a clearance, which contacts the receive face of the latch through a spring 11 absorbing shocks and enters the case body 1, is provided at a part of the buffer plate 8. The spring 11 absorbing shocks is compressed by the spring force at the time when the latch bolt 5 is stuck into a square hole and the sticking force of the latch bolt 5 is absorbed by the reaction force and the shock noise is reduced.
