PURPOSE: To enable a pressure-applying element to be applied to both a handle and a knob by setting the pressure-applying element for working the return spring of strength suitable for the rotational movement of the knob, on a latch leading-in cam and working a spring force suitable for the rotational movement of the lever handle, on the cam.
CONSTITUTION: When a lever handle is fitted on a door lock, then a screw rod fitted spirally on a pressure-applying element 15 is removed from the front surface of a front plate 2. After that, the pressure-applying element 15 projects to the front end position of a long hole 1b by a coil spring 16 and comes in contact with the surface 12c to be brought in contact, of a cam 12 at a neutral position. After that, when the lever handle fitted on a square hole 12a is pulled down, then by the rotational movement of the cam 12 clockwise, the force of a weak spring 13 and the spring 16 is worked on the handle, and an operating piece 8 is moved to the right side, and a latch 6a is led in. When a knob is fitted on, then the screw rod is spirally fitted on the screw hole 15a of the pressure-applying element 15, and the element 15 is led back. Besides, the pressure-applying element 15 is removed from the rotational movement area of the cam 12, and the force of the spring 13 is worked only on the cam 12, and rotational movement with the knob is facilitated.
