To provide a door locking device for a vehicle allowing door locking operation by means of a remote operation means, equipped with a door lock controlling means having no special independent receiving means to the door locking controlling means, and surely determining whether the door is locked by the remote operation means or not.
This door locking device is provided with the remote operation means, a switching means, a door locking mechanism for a vehicle, the controlling means, an alarming means, and a determining means. The determining means determines whether the door lock is released by means of the remote operation means or not from a detection result based on detection of a signal condition in the door locking mechanism and a signal condition in the switching means.
