To improve anti-theft performance, and to clarify who performed unlocking.
The door locking device comprises a first locking mechanism which allows a door body to be opened when unlocking operation by a key is carried out, while maintaining a closed state of an outer door for opening and closing an opening part of a vending machine body, and a second locking mechanism having an electric drive part which allows the first locking mechanism to be operated for unlocking when a release signal is inputted, while hindering the first locking mechanism from being operated for unlocking. In the second locking mechanism, when physical features are detected, the detected physical features are checked against prestored physical features. When the detected physical features coincide with the prestored physical features, namely, when a person having the detected physical features is the person who has the key, the fact is recorded. Otherwise, when the detected physical features coincide with the stored physical features, an electric current is applied to a solenoid to allow the first locking mechanism to be operated for unlocking. When a predetermined period of time is elapsed since the electric current is applied to the solenoid, the application of the electric current to the solenoid 61 is stopped.
