PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening and closing device for a vehicle constituted in such a way that an inner cable whose one end is connected with a rotor so as to perform twist operation in accordance with turn of the rotor of a cylinder lock and whose other end is connected with a key operation input shaft of a door lock mechanism is inserted into an outer casing whose both ends are connected with the cylinder lock and the door lock mechanism to prevent a connection condition in which the outer casing is connected with the door lock mechanism from being easily released.
SOLUTION: A locking part 146 capable of resiliently engaging an engaging part 138 provided in a casing provided in the door lock mechanism is provided in an end part on a door lock mechanism side of the outer casing 50. An engagement release prevention member 151 capable of preventing engagement release of the engaging part 138 from the locking part 146 is mounted in the end part on the door lock mechanism side of the outer casing 50 and in either of casings so as to displace between an engagement release allowance position for allowing engagement release and an engagement release prevention position for preventing engagement release.
