To provide a door power generator which generates electric power using energy of door opening/closing action, is simple in structure, compact and economical, and can be easily applied to an existing door.
The door power generator 1 includes a plurality of permanent magnets 3 installed in a line on the upper edge surface of a door 2, consisting of a slide door, through an adhesive tape 8, a coil 5 installed in a guide rail 7 of a head jamb and generating an induced current by passage of the permanent magnets 3 accompanied by the opening/closing action of the door 2, a rectifier circuit 9 for converting the induced current generated in the coil 5 at opening and closing the door 2 into a direct current, and a capacitor 6, such as a secondary battery, for storing the induced current generated in the coil 5.
