Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remove a small space formed between the door stops of an elevator at the time of door closing so as to restrain generation of whistling sounds by projecting the contact portions of sealing tools formed out of a material elastically flexible from their respective contact faces with the door stops, and installing each sealing tool along a cover plate provided on the reverse side of each door stop.
CONSTITUTION: Sealing tools 10 are each mounted on the reverse side of the door stop 3 of each elevator door 2. The sealing tools 10 are each made of a elastically flexible, easy-to-grip material such as a metallic plate or synthetic resin and provided with a curved portion, and the curved portion is further projected by C from the abutting face 4a of the sealing member 4 of the door stop and is installed along a cover plate 8 using a bolt 9 for attaching the cover plate 8. When the doors 2 are closed the sealing members 4 of the door stops 3 of both of the doors 2 are made to abut to each other and the sealing portions 10 are made to abut at their curved portions to each other. The contact portions 10a of the sealing tools 10 are deformed by an amount of projection from the abutting face 4 of each sealing member 4 and make facial contact with each other so that the degree of tightness at the contact portions 10a is perfect.
