Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deformation of a door in case of front impact while satisfying the requirements for the side impact in the door structure of a cab- over vehicle. SOLUTION: An impact bar 1 is arranged between the outer panel 21 and the inner panel 22 of a door 2 having an arch part 2a whose lower periphery is formed in an arch shape in accordance with the shape of a wheel house. The front end of the impact bar 1 is joined to the door 2 in the position of the door front periphery, and the rear end thereof is joined to the arch part in the farther front side position than the arch top point of the door lower periphery. The impact bar 1 is constituted in a double-closed sectional structure by superposing a first outer plate 11, a second outer plate 12, and an inner plate 13. At the time of front impact, since the front impact load is received by the upper peripheral part of the wheel house through the impact bar 1, the direct transmission of the front impact load to a pillar can be prevented. At the time of side impact, the intrusion of the door toward the inside of a compartment due to the side impact can be prevented by the rigidity of the impact bar 1.
