PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door-to-door delivery system and a picking device capable of placing an order online and receiving a commodity in home by a door-to- door delivery.
SOLUTION: An order receiving device 1 is connected to the terminal equipment of a user through a communication line. By using the terminal equipment, the user inputs the order data of a delivered commodity and the data on possibility of alteration on a homepage. The order receiving device 1 outputs the order data as indication data from the user to the shop server 2 of an applicable shop. Based on the indication data from the order receiving device 1, the shop server 2 indicates the picking of the delivered commodity to a picking device 3. A picking worker performs the picking operation of the delivered commodity based on the picking instruction received by the picking device 3.
