Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door for vehicle which can reduce vehicle maintenance cost significantly, contribute to effective use of resources, and with superior strength by allowing removal of only necessary parts of interior side panel to be easily replaced with new ones and continued use of the other main parts of the doors even when the interior side panel needs replacement.
SOLUTION: A door body 1 of this door for vehicle uses a honeycomb board 10. An interior side panel 2 has a double structure with a metal inner panel 21 and a decorative outer panel 22. The metal inner panel 21 and an exterior side panel 3 are integrally joined to a honeycomb core material 4 of the honeycomb board 10. The decorative outer panel 22 is detachably attached to the outer circumferential frame of the door body 1. Accordingly, even when color or pattern of the interior surface needs to be renewed due to colorfastness, service limit by scratches or dirt, or obsolescence of design of the door interior surface, it is not necessary to replace the entire door. The decorative outer panel only may be replaced with a new one. This allows significantly reduction in vehicle maintenance cost, contributing to effective use of resources.
