Abstract:
To provide a door weather strip capable of improving door closing property while securing sound insulating property by means of a support lip.SOLUTION: A door weather strip includes an internally hollow mounting base part 13 which is mounted on a door inner panel 3a, a hollow seal part 14 which is provided integrally with the mounting base part and, when a front door 1 is closed, is elastically brought into contact with a vehicle body panel 10 and a support lip 16 which is projected into the hollow seal part from the mounting base part. Therein, the support lip is formed of a thin-thickness bendable part on almost middle position from a base end part 16a of the mounting base part side to a tip part 16b of the hollow seal part side, the whole is formed in a dogleg shape via the bendable part, when the front door is closed, the tip part is abutted on an inner face 14d of the hollow seal part which is bent and deformed by a pressing force of the door and, when the door is opened, the tip part is formed so as to be separated from the inner surface of the hollow seal part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
