Abstract:
To provide a door weather strip configured so that proper flexural deformation of a hollow seal part can be secured.SOLUTION: In a door weather strip (4) according to the present invention, a hard coating part (64) formed of materials which are harder than an outer periphery side of a hollow seal part (6) is provided at a portion of an inner periphery side of the hollow seal part (6). Therefore, a portion where the hard coating part (64) is provided hardly flexurally-deforms and a portion where the hard coating part (64) is not provided easily flexurally-deforms, when a door (1) is closed, which can control the flexural deformation of the hollow seal part (6) in a proper attitude. Consequently, the proper flexural deformation of the hollow seal part (6) can be secured when the door (1) is closed, which can suppress folded crinkle from occurring when the hollow seal part (6) elastically contacts a vehicle body panel (2), so that good appearance of the door weather strip (4) can be maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
