To provide a doorway voice output system of a railway vehicle eliminating the need of the addition of a power line when the system is retrofitted to an existing railway vehicle.

In this doorway voice output system installed near the door of the doorway of the railway vehicle and outputting voice, when a control voltage for opening/closing the door is applied to a control line for opening/closing the door, a power voltage for the doorway voice output system is generated by the control voltage for opening/closing the door inputted thereto through the control line for operating the doorway voice output system. When the control voltage for opening/closing the door is not applied to the control line, the doorway voice output system is operated on the power voltage for the system inputted from a doorway power device thereto through the control line.
