Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot type recorder capable of performing simultaneous recording which ranges from linear interpolation recording and analog trend recording to digital printing of alphanumeric, kana, and kanji codes.SOLUTION: A dot type recorder switches recording colors by swinging an ink ribbon, which has crosswise color bands each dyed by an ink of a different color, along a feed direction of recording paper, and at the same time the dot type recorder feeds the ink ribbon in a direction orthogonal to the feed direction of recording paper and selectively drives a recording pen comprised of wire dots such that a specific color band allocated to the respective measurement channel of the ink ribbon is hit against the recording paper at a recording position while reciprocating the recording pen in a width direction of the recording paper. The dot type recorder includes a memory for holding the recording position data of the recording pen in a minimum movement resolution throughout an effective recording width of the recording paper. The memory stores the trend recording data of measured values by the measurement channel and the digital printing data related to the measurement channel as the recording position data for mixed recording by movement of the recording pen.
