Abstract:
A double action brake valve (1) is connected by hydraulic lines (4, 5) to a hydrostatic-mechanical transmission unit (6, 7). In order to avoid a gear-dependent delay, two-stage pressure-limiting valves (16) are used which are controlled gear-dependently by the pressure in the hydraulic lines (4, 5) and by a pilot pressure. Both pressure stages and the level of the prevailing pilot pressure allow the braking power of the hydraulic motor (6) to be adapted to the reduction jump between the gear steps of the transmission (7). Dangerous or uncomfortable driving situations are thus avoided.
