To provide a double-acting press machine where the driving mechanism of an outer slide can be simplified, wrinkle pressing time can be adjusted in accordance with the depth of drawing, and wrinkle pressing force can be controlled without providing the inside of the outer slide with a wrinkle pressing force regulation mechanism.
The double-acting press machine is provided with: an outer slide 7 in which a blank holder performing the wrinkle pressing of a workpiece is installed at the lower face, and which is driven to be elevated; and an inner slide in which a punch 5 is installed at the lower face, and which is driven to be elevated at the inside of the outer slide 7. The double-acting press machine is also provided with: an outer slide driving mechanism 30 having servomotors 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d and driving the outer slide 7 to be elevated with the servomotors as driving sources; and an outer slide controller 50 controlling the servomotors in such a manner that the outer slide 7 is elevated in accordance with a prescribed operational pattern.
