Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enlarge the work range of a double-arm robot.

CONSTITUTION: A double-arm robot is provided with plural manipulators 12A, 12B, and these manipulators 12A, 12B are supported in the independently movable state. The work range of the manipulators 12A, 12B are thereby enlarged in the moving direction. A parts feeding area is provided at the rear part in the moving direction, and a parts assembling area is provided at the front part in the moving direction, so that the carry-in of parts into parts assembling area can be also performed by the robot to obtain the variety of work contents.
