Abstract:
To provide a double blank detector for a press machine which can reliably detect a double blank when the double blank is supplied to the press machine, and a metal mold protector for the press machine.SOLUTION: A double blank detector 302 for a press machine which uses a press machine equipped with a die cushion device and automatically repeatedly forms blank materials one by one. The double blank detector 302 comprises: a position signal acquisition part 320 which acquires a slide position signal which indicates a slide position of the press machine; a load signal acquisition part 310 which acquires a die cushion load signal which indicates a die cushion load which is generated in a cushion pad of the die cushion device; and a double blank detection part 330 which detects the state where the plural blank materials are overlapped, as a double blank, on the basis of the slide position signal acquired by the position signal acquisition part 320 and the die cushion load signal acquired by the load signal acquisition part 310.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
