Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide such a photographic image forming method that rapid processing can be done and picture images of high picture quality having high contrast and high max. density can be stably obtd. even under such processing conditions for less environmental pollution with a low replenishing amt. of a developer.
CONSTITUTION: A silver halide photographic material has at least one silver halide photographic emulsion layer containing ≥95mol% silver chloride on a supporting body. This photosensitive material is exposed for imaging and developed. In this image forming method, the silver halide photographic emulsion layer contains silver halide particles containing such a complex near the surface of the particle that at least one element in groups 5 to 10 of the periodic, table is the center metal and at least one ligand on the 4-fold axis among of six unidentates is different from others. Further, the replenishing amt. of the developer is 20-60ml per one m2 of the photosensitive material.
