Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive double chock rolling mill which decreases the shortening of a bearing life due to offset load.
SOLUTION: The lines y1 and y2 of action of a double row tapered roller bearing equipment 1 of an outer chock B1 are crossed each other at outside of a bearing outer wheel 12 diameter direction and the load center distance Y of the rolling element load is made longer by a shift amount 2X or more of a work roll A, and thus the shortening of a bearing life is restrained by preventing the occurrence of reverse load even when offset load works on the bearing equipment.
