To provide a double cyclone dust collecting device for a vacuum cleaner by which cleaning can be extremely beautifully and efficiently performed in such a manner that foreign matters are disposed by centraifugally separating foreign matters in order depending on the particle sizes, and which can reduce appliance noises and extend the life of a filter.
This double cyclone dust collecting device for a vacuum cleaner includes a lower cyclone body and at least one upper cyclone body. The lower cyclone body primarily centrifugally separates foreign matters of larger particles included in air which is made to flow in from the outside, and collects the foreign matters. The upper cyclone body is provided on the top of the lower cyclone body, and centrifugally separates foreign matters of relatively smaller sizes included in the air exhausted from the lower cyclone body in order, and collects the foreign matters.
