Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase the outside visual range for passengers on the upper deck by constructing the upper-deck ceiling part and the waist panel part from near the upper-deck passenger seat floor surface to the lower part of the upper- deck window frame on the side and rear parts of a body, with a transparent panel. CONSTITUTION:In a double-deck bus 10, the upper-deck ceiling part except the corner parts of the roof of the body is constructed by rectangular transparent panels 11 to 19 of a polycarbonate resin or a methacrylate resin. And, further, the waist panel parts from near the upper-deck passenger seat floor surface to the lower parts of the upper-deck window frames on the side and rear parts of the body, are also constructed by the rectangular transparent panels 21 to 33 of a polycarbonate resin or a methacrylate resin.
