PURPOSE: To carry out stable operation without rolling the absorption solution of refrigerant vapor by the elevation of the level of the absorption solution in a high-temperature reproducer or inviting the deterioration of a capacity by mixing the refrigerant vapor by the descending of the level of the same by a method wherein a control valve on the half way of a concentrated solution pipeline connecting the outlet port of a high-temperature heat exchanger to the mixing point of concentrated solution and intermediate concentrated solution is controlled.
CONSTITUTION: The level of refrigerant in a high-temperature reproducer is detected by a liquid level detector 20 in the concentrated solution pipe of the outlet port of the same reproducer. In this case, when the level of the solution is detected that it is high, a control valve 9 is controlled so as to be opened by a signal from a control valve controller 13 while the control valve 9 is controlled so as to be closed to keep the level of the solution of a high- temperature reproducer 1 (the level of solution in the concentrated solution pipe of the outlet port of the high-temperature reproducer) in constant when the detected level of the solution is low. On the other hand, a heating amount controller 18 inputs the detecting value of a liquid level detector 17 and controls the opening degree of a control valve 7. According to this method, the rolling of the absorption solution into refrigerant vapor due to the elevation of the level of the absorption solution in the high-temperature reproducer 1 or the deterioration of capacity due to the mixing of the refrigerant vapor into the concentrated rated solution which is caused by the descending of the liquid level, which are generated readily so far, will never be generated.
