To provided a double-ended needle, in which the points of hollow needles are not exposed, in which the integrations of two containers to transfer chemicals with plugs are improved, and in which no liquid leakage occurs during the chemical transfer.
The double-ended needle (1) is constituted by jointing its two bottomed cylinders (2 and 3) through a connector (4) with their outer bottom faces being in opposite directions. Hollow needles (5 and 6) are protruded into the individual bottomed cylinders (2 and 3) from their inner bottom faces so that their internal holes are connected through a passage (7) extending through the connector. A tubular member (8), which is disposed halfway in of the connector (4), is made to communicate with the tip of one hollow needle (5) through a vent hole (9). The hollow needles (5 and 6) are not exposed so that they can resolve the danger of hurting a finger tip. Moreover, the container, from which the blood is transfused, can be easily brought into a positive pressure state. When the hollow needles are individually jointed to the mouthpieces of the two containers, the mouths of the two containers including the plugs are covered with the bottomed cylinders and gripped from the outside, and the plugs and the hollow needles are frictionally jointed so that the integration feel with the containers is improved.
