Abstract:
To provide a double feed detection device which can be assembled easily.SOLUTION: A double feed detection device 50 comprises: a transmission circuit board 51 on which an ultrasonic transmitter 31 for transmitting ultrasonic waves 56 is installed; and an ultrasonic receiver 27 having a reception surface 66a for receiving the ultrasonic waves 56. The ultrasonic transmitter 31 transmits the ultrasonic waves 56 in a direction crossing a thickness direction of the transmission circuit board 51. A cross sectional area of the ultrasonic waves 56 orthogonal to a traveling direction of the ultrasonic waves 56 is larger than the area of the reception surface 66a viewed from the traveling direction of the ultrasonic waves 56.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
