Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-frame type spectacles front frame that permits not only choice from diverse lens types but also quick and easy lens replacement even by an inexperienced person, is free from problems of lens disengagement or sideway deviation, biasing of frame gravity center, loss of members, deterioration of appearance and the like, and moreover has advantages in purchase price and manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: In a double-frame type spectacles front frame, a sub-frame 2 is formed to be attachable to and detachable from a main frame 1 by a back-and-forth directed through-hole 11a bored in a first bridge 11 of the main frame 1 and engaging projections 21a and 21a protrusively disposed on the rear face of a second bridge 21 of the sub-frame 2, and further an engaging vertical groove 11a cut around the engaging projection 11a on the front face of the main frame 1 and another engaging vertical groove cut around the engaging projection 21a on the rear face of the second bridge 21 in the sub-frame 2 enable the first bridge 11 and the second bridge 21 to be put together in a halved joint form.
