Abstract:
To perform sure lubrication by making a peak of a quantity of a lubricant actually supplied to a slide face of an upper pin 4 coincide with a crank angle at which a combustion load becomes maximum.SOLUTION: A lubrication structure of a double-link type piston crank comprises: a crank pin oil path 33 formed at a crank pin 5A; a lower link oil path 35 arranged at a lower link 6; and an upper link oil path 36 formed at an upper pin boss part 23 of the upper link 3. The lubricant is injected toward the upper pin boss part 23 by the coincidence of the crank pin oil path 33 with the lower link oi path 35. By taking into consideration a delay of transfer caused by the mass and the viscosity of the lubricant, a crank angle at which communication areas of the oil paths 33, 35 become maximum is set before a piston top dead point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
