PURPOSE: To enable insertion of contact smoothly into a contact accomodating space at a temporary engaging and fixing position of a double lock member by substantially excluding a distance between a partition wall of the double lock member and a partition wall of an insulation housing.

CONSTITUTION: At a temporary engaging and fixing position of a double lock member 13, a partition wall 18 of an insulation housing 11 and a partition wall 17 of the double lock member 13, are placed on one plane, so that a contact inserted into a hole part 16 of the double lock member 13 can be guided to the direction of arrow A, smoothly. Insertion of the contact can thus be made very smooth without problems such as end terminal of the contact are placed between both partition walls 17, 18, or a tip of the contact abuts on a terminal portion of the partition wall 18 of the insulation housing 11, upon insertion.
