Two ground fabrics 10 and 11 are set at the upper and the lower sides, yarns to be napped are crosswise inserted into both the upper and the lower fabrics 10 and 11 and replaced along the ground fabrics 10 and 11 so that the upper and the lower ground fabrics 10 and 11 are connected at the replacing parts of the yarns to be napped and the yarns to be napped are napped.
