To provide a double resonant antenna which attempts to reduce size while balancing an antenna characteristic on the high frequency side with an antenna characteristic on the low frequency side at a low cost, a method for manufacturing the same, and a communication device using the same.
According to the double resonant antenna, when a first antenna electrode 2 is an antenna electrode for low frequency and a second antenna electrode 3 is an antenna electrode 3 for high frequency, since a high dielectric part 5 having a high dielectric constant is provided under a part including a free end which is highest in electric intensity in the first antenna electrode 2, the first antenna electrode 2 can secure an effective electric length without substantially requiring a folded part. Further, the high dielectric part 5 scarcely affects a radiation characteristic of the second antenna electrode 3. For this reason, the second antenna electrode 3 can secure an effective bandwidth. Accordingly, the double resonant antenna can balance the antenna characteristic on the high frequency side with the antenna characteristic on the low frequency side.
