Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent transmission delay or packet loss caused by congestion of transmission channel or abnormal condition to ensure a real-time property of data transmission.
SOLUTION: In the double ring type data transmission method in which several nodes 20a, 20b, 20c..., 20n are connected with a transmission channel L10a and a transmission channel R10b, respectively, in ring shapes to transmit data between each node 20a, 20b, 20c..., 20n using the channel L10a as an active channel and the channel R10b for a standby channel, base transmission time for packets between each node 20a, 20b, 20c..., 20n are defined. If transmission time for packets sent from each node 20a, 20b, 20c..., 20n is longer than the base transmission time, the channel between the transmitter node and the receiver node of the relevant packets are switched to the standby channel R10b from the active channel L10a.
