Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-row magnetic encoder that does not require a special magnetization yoke equipped with a magnetic shield member and allows a double-row magnetic encoder track to be magnetized by a general magnetization yoke, and which can be manufactured at low cost, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A double-row magnetic encoder 4 comprises a plurality of individual magnetic encoders 1 arranged in a row in the axial direction. The individual magnetic encoders 1 include an annular core grid 2 and a single row of annular magnetic encoder track 3 formed on the outer circumference of the core grid. A magnetic encoder track 11 has its N and S poles magnetized by a prescribed magnetic pattern. The core grids 2 of adjacent individual magnetic encoders 1 are joined so as not to be misaligned by fitting a fitting recess 2a and a fitting protrusion 2b formed on axial end faces facing each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
