Abstract:

To simplify assembly of a double row roller bearing, to simplify assembly to a machine, and to simplify determination of precompression or a clearance after the assembly.SOLUTION: A double row roller bearing has an inner ring 2 having an intermediate flange 2c including two strips of rolling surfaces 2a, 2b and screw restriction surfaces 2d, 2d on an outer diameter portion, an outer ring 3 composed of two split outer rings 3, 3, having rolling surfaces 3a, 3b defining roller raceways 5, 5, with the rolling surfaces 2a, 2b, and rollers 4, 4assembled in each of the roller raceways 5, 5. A contact angle θ to the outer ring 3 of the rollers 4, 4is 35° or more and 45° or less, and two split outer rings 3, 3are coaxially disposed with a clearance in a central axis C direction of the bearing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
