Abstract:
To simplify assembly of a double row roller bearing, to simplify assembly to a machine, and to simplify determination of precompression or a clearance after the assembly.SOLUTION: A double row roller bearing is composed of an outer ring 2 having two strips of rolling surfaces 2a, 2b inclined to directions opposite to each other, an inner ring 3 constituted by combining split inner rings 3, 3having rolling surfaces 3a, 3b defining roller raceways 6, 6with the rolling surfaces 2a, 2b, and large flanges 3c, 3d including a screw restriction surface 3e, two sets of rollers 4, 4assembled in the roller raceways 6, 6, and a space adjustment member 5 disposed between the split inner rings 3, 3, and a contact angle θ to the outer ring 2 of the rollers 4, 4is determined to be 35° or more and 45° or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
