Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-row type ball bearing which can be installed in a space-saved manner and exhibits high load resistance.SOLUTION: An inner race 3 is divided into a first inner race 31 and a second inner race 32. A first curved surface 34 constituting a first raceway space A1 is formed in the first inner race 31. A second curved surface 36 constituting a second raceway space A1 is formed in the second inner race 32. A small-diameter portion 51 of a shaft 5 is inserted into a clearance between the first inner race 31 and the second inner race 32 while securing the clearance between the small-diameter portion 51 and both inner races, a caulked portion formed at a tip of the small-diameter portion 51 is brought into pressure -contact with the first inner race 31, and a side face of a large-diameter portion 53 is abutted on the second inner race 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
