PURPOSE: To provide a double side coating method and device for a coating material to printed circuit boards or sheet materials used in drawing as well as a drying method and device.
CONSTITUTION: This method includes respective stages for simultaneously coating both surfaces of the sheet materials 1 exclusive of the non-coating parts 2 of the sheet materials 1 with the coating material and transporting the sheet materials with a conveyor by holding the non-coating parts 2 or hanging and transporting the sheet materials 1 by holding part of the non-coating parts 2. This double side coating device includes coating means for simultaneously coating both surfaces of the sheet materials 1 with the coating material 3. This coating means uses two pieces of coating rolls which have the width narrower than the width of the sheet materials 1 or larger than the width of the sheet materials and are disposed movably across the sheet materials 1. The sheet materials are coated with the coating material by a control means which controls the contact and non-contact of these coating rolls with the sheet materials.
