PURPOSE: To enable the expansion of uses for a reversible double-side pile fabric over a wide range by developing a block pattern of various sizes on the back surface.

CONSTITUTION: This double-side pile fabric is obtained by alternately and continuously crossing pile yarns P1 and P2 over ground weft yarns 2, 3 and 4 and 7, 8 and 9 into an M form over the upper and the lower fabrics, similarly repetitively crossing pile yarns P3 and P4 over the ground weft yarns 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 into an upward and a downward wavy forms twice, crossing the pile yarns over ground weft yarns 21, 23, 27, 29, 32, 34, 37, 39, 43 and 45 to creep thereon, further crossing the pile yarns over ground weft yarns 46, 47, 48, 49 and 50 into the upward and downward wave forms, successively crossing pile yarns P5 and P6 over ground weft yarns 2, 4, 7, 9, 12, 14, 17, 19, 23 and 25 to creep thereon and further ground weft yarns 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39 and 40 into the upward and downward wave forms and then crossing the pile yarns over ground weft yarns 41, 43, 47 and 49 to creep thereon. Thereby, a 50-split textile weave in which the arrangement sets of the pile yarns P1 and P2, P3 and P4 and P5 and P6 are mutually superposed is constituted.
