To provide an economical double side usable picture frame which facilitates the changing of atmosphere at a room or an office and achieves a double application in the appreciation of pictures or the like, a saving of time and labor in the replacement of the pictures or the like and a reduction in the required number of the picture frames down to a half by inserting a picture a photograph, a certificate of merit and the like into the front and back of the picture frame so as to be turned inside out.

The front part and the back part of the picture frame (1) are provided with opening parts (2) and (3) respectively and a step part (4) is formed inside the opening parts covering a surface area larger than the opening parts. A lid (10) of an opening part (9) on one hand side of the picture frame is opened to insert a transparent plate (5), a rear plate (6) and a transparent plate (7) into the step part. Two hooks or pins (11) are installed at the central part across the width of the picture frame deep at an upper part thereof and a string is tied onto them.
