Abstract:

To realize a double-sided display with further higher degrees of freedom, and to impart an opened feeling to the environment installed.

This double-sided display apparatus 1 is constituted using a scanning side driver 21, and a transparent EL display 2 matrix-driven by a data side driver 22. An area dividing signal creating part of a driver control part 23 is formed to output reversing signals L/R for reversing the direction to which a 8×20 bit data latch constituting the data side driver 22 shifts the data, according to a boundary between a front side display region and a rear side display region in the scanning side driver 21 set by an area dividing line specifying part of a division specifying part 24.
