PURPOSE: To obtain the subject tape excellent in bond strength to an adherend having low-polar surface such as esp. a polyolefin resin, by providing both sides of a substrate with pressure-sensitive adhesive layers prepared by incorporating a specific acrylic copolymer with each specified amount of a tackifying resin and a crosslinking agent.

CONSTITUTION: This double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is obtained by providing (A) both sides of a substrate layer prepared by incorporating (i) 100 pts.wt. of a 1-14C alkyl-contg. (meth)acrylic eater copolymer with (ii) 0.5-175 pts.wt. of fine particles each 1-150μm in average diameter with (B) pressure-sensitive adhesive layers each consisting of an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition prepared by incorporating (i) 100 pts.wt. of an acrylic copolymer obtained by copolymerization of 0.5-10wt.% of a polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid with a 2-18C alkyl-contg. (meth)acrylic alkyl ester with (ii) 5-40 pts.wt. of a tackifying resin consisting of a polymer rosin pentaerythritol ester and (iii) 0.01-0.5 pt.wt. of a cross-linking agent consisting of an aziridine- based compound. The substrate layer is ≥50% in the stress relaxation one hour after 100% elongated.
