Abstract:
To provide a double tube type heat exchanger that is usable as it is freely bent or curved depending on how it is installed and that is suitable for a small amount of heat exchange.
The heat exchanger 1 comprises an outer tube 2 and an inner tube 3 constructed of corrugated tubes, with the outside of the inner tube 3 covered with a wick 4. This produces a degree of freedom of bending and the wick 4 can increase efficiency by allowing a small amount of fluid to flow along the wick 4 without being biased. The wick 4 also prevents the outer tube 2 and the inner tube 3 from making direct contact with each other when bent and being damaged or corroded, while securing a tapped flow passage.
