To provide an RF coil of an MRI system irradiating high frequency magnetic fields having two kinds of mutually similar magnetic resonance frequencies with high efficiency and uniformity, and receiving two kinds of magnetic resonance signals having mutually similar frequencies with high sensitivity and uniform distribution of sensitivity.
It has a loop 1 of at least one conductive wire, and the loop is loaded with a parallel circuit 7 equipped with first and second branches. The first branch is equipped with a first capacitor 2 and the second branch is quipped with a first inductor of a second capacitor 4 and a first parallel resonance circuit and a third capacitor 6. The first capacitor 2 has capacitance to resonate the RF coil when the signal of the first resonance frequency is sent and received corresponding to elements with higher magnetic resonance frequency, and the integration values of the capacitance of the second capacitor 2 and the value of the first inductor 3 are determined by the first resonance frequency. The third capacitor 6 has the capacitance to resonate the RF coil when the signal of the second resonance frequency is sent and received corresponding to elements with lower magnetic resonance frequency.
