PURPOSE: A double twister in which the inside magnet that opposites to the outside magnet for stopping the revolution of bobbin following the spindle rotation on an appropriate position in the frame is set at a point of the periphery of flange, thus permitting the position of yarn-supply package to lower and the yarn amount of package to increase.

CONSTITUTION: A magnet Ma for inhibiting the revolution of the yarn-supply package is embeded at a point of the periphery of flange 3a in bobbin 3 and another magnet Mb is set at an appropriate position on the frame so as to make the N-pole of Ma oppose to the S-pole of Mb or vice versa. The attractive force between both magnets Ma and Mb prohibits the revolution of the flange 3a in bobbin 3 even when spindle 10 revolves at a high speed. Since the diameter of flange 3a can be expanded and the position of yarn-supply package 1 can be lowered, the height of the baloon can be lowered and the yarn amount on package 1 can be increased without any adverse effect on the stability and tension of ballooming.
